A great day

Can't believe it!  I forgot my memory card at home!  Got to Mahone Bay and wanted to take photos of the most beautiful day in the most beautiful spot and no...no...darn it!   We arrived at 9:55 with 5 minutes to spare to opening time.  The doors opened and the stampede moved on.  Girl Guides were at the door selling their wonderful cookies. Bought a package..oh yeah!  Something to munch on for the drive home.  Entered the church hall and began going from table to table of quilty goodness.  Here is what I brought home.

There were no scrapbags, like last year, so I didn't get to grab a few for quilty friends.

Then it was on to Suttles and Seawinds.  I found two fat quarter packs of 6 fat quarters each for 12.00 each! Score!
A few Kaffe and Brandon's that I didn't already have.

The photo doesnt do these fat quarters justice.  Just gorgeous!

While I was visiting at Suttles and Seawinds, I was lucky enough to meet three Enfield quilters.  Debbie, Sheila and Janet.  They recognized me from my blog, So lovely to make that connection and  we hope to meet up at It's Sew Time, our local quilt shop, in the near future.

Knitty Sister hit the yarn shop  ,  and found the most beautiful yarn for her newest shawl.  I will get a photo of the pattern to show so you can see what she is going to make.  It will be fabulous I am sure.
Update: Here is a link to see the project that she will be making with this beautiful yarn.  She made me one for Christmas last year in a gorgeous raspberry shade.

Hopefully, you had a lovely quilty day too!
