The Library Project 2014

I wish there was an app that you could use to download, directly from your quilty brain, all the quilts you want (need) to make and organize and priortize them nice and pretty in folders.   My favourite conversation with myself  begins with "I'm going to make that".  How many times have you said "That quilt is going on my List"?  I have lists all over the place.   Anyway, I think that an app that could do this would involve embedding a microchip in your head, so that is out!  So, for this year, I am joining up with Adrienne at Chezzetcook Modern Quilts, who is challenging quilters to pick at least four quilts from "The List" aka quilting books in your personal library, a magazine or pattern that keeps haunting you.  It's called "The Library Project QuiltAlong"  and you can check it out HERE.  Here are the projects that have been kicking around in my head and have been bookmarked in my home library.  I think this challenge will encourage me to work on them and get them made in 2014.

"Basic Puzzle" From "Modern Basics" by Amy Ellis

"Diamonds" From "Fresh Impressions" by Allison Jane Smith

I want to make this pattern in Christmas prints.

"Slices" from "Scrap Republic" by Emily Cier

"Hugs & Kisses" by Jaybird Quilts

"Stars and Diamonds"   a pattern by Janice McKee

!

But, before I start on making the above, I have two other quilts on my cutting table in different stages.  Yikes!  Guess I need about 10 snow days in a row!

Adrienne has a linky set up on her post, so stop by and check out what everyone has chosen to work on and maybe join in too!
Hope you have a quilty day ! I have a lot of sewing to do!
