It's TN&TN Time again

Another week has passed by.  I did make progress, so that's a good thing.  I finished hand-appliquing the ninth block of "My Reminiscense" wallhanging. I attached the nine-patch sashings, which I had made beforehand. I was so glad that I had prepared those in advance.  I sewed them all on without any trouble.  I still have a narrow dark brown border and a muslin border to go on and then ready for quilting. I will bind it in a dark brown. I am hoping to hang it in my livingroom.

I am still waiting for my thread order to arrive, but here is a peek at the progress on the FMQ on my RRCB.  This quilt is an absolute beast! It is so heavy..it has a ton of seams. The string blocks are very susceptible to stretching .I wish now that I would have saved this one for handquilting.  I am not at all happy with the way things are going with it. I hope I will love it when it is complete.  Chalk it up to experience I guess.

It was a sunny day here today except when the fog  kept drifting in and out. Went for a walk in the Halifax Public Gardens.  Here are a few pics. Things are starting to bloom.

I am linking up with The Needle & Thread Network so stop by and see what everyone is working on.
