This month's expert in SewCalGal's Free Motion Challenge is Don Linn.
Here is the link to see the video where Don explains and demonstrates his technique. He shows us how to make a tulle template for transferring a quilting pattern. I tried this method and I really liked it. I did heat set the permanent marker on the tulle but I guess the iron may not have been hot enough (I thought the tulle might melt) as it left a tiny trace of the black marker. I would certainly use this in the future.
