In keeping with my UFO draw, RRCB is the next victim of being hauled out of the pile to be completed.  It made it from the pile in the spare room upstairs to the kitchen table for a few days and now it is on the ironing board along with the backing.  The batting is breathing over the railing upstairs.  I am still pondering my plan of attack but things are moving.  While dragging out the piece of fabric I will use for backing from the closet, I found this.....

It has been tucked away for several years..out of sight, out of mind.  It is a UFO of my brother-in-law's grandmother.  She passed away many years ago.  I think she lived in Ontario. I will have to get more info on this. The piecing is a bit wonky but I love it. It is all cotton fabrics.  My BIL has a completed one in the same pattern. The setting triangles are muslin. It has no borders and it was handquilted, of course.  Included in the bag that this came in, were some scraps. Not enough to do anything with. The edges are a bit out of shape and could be a bit of a nightmare to get everything straight and set-in precisely, but I certainly want to finish it.   What do you think?  Can you date the fabrics?
