Back to Stringing!!

Took a few days but I finally got the borders sewn on this applique quilt. The blocks in this quilt are a BOM from The Quilters Hope Chest, Halifax, Nova Scotia from probably 10 or more years ago!! Now I am back to making string blocks and have decided to make the yellow and blue quilt bigger by adding 12 more blocks. So I will have to wait for a while before starting my next colour of strings.

Leftover Quilt #2

When I started cutting fabrics to make the quilt for my BIL Chris, I got a little carried away and cut far too much for one quilt so I ended up making two more quilt tops from the leftover squares. The first leftover one was given to my sweet sister (dont have a pic but it is from a magazine) and #2 will become my new Christmas quilt. I still have some blocks left for a #3!!
