Just taking a very short break from making string blocks so that I can get the borders on this applique quilt. It was started years ago and my BQFF (best quilting friend forever) Kathy, took over where I left off and finished the applique.She used the back-basting method for applique and her work is incredible. It is next in line for handquilting.
