Happy New Year !!!

Its snowing and I am having a quilty day. I marked all the quilting designs on "Spring Morning". I am doing a rope design in the plain border and crosshatching in the vine border. I ironed the backing (awesome muslin) and now it is all ready for handbasting which I will do tomorrow cuz my back is hurting right now and I dont think I should spend the time it will take to do the basting with my back the way it is right now. Cant wait to start the handquilting. I am going to use my new thimble. It is a Clover gel thimble. It will really help with the hurting. I am going to use YLI quiulting thread in colour #2 Ecru. It is a lovely dark beige. Hopefully I will start the quilting tomorrow.
